Stranded in Wellington

We are now stuck in Wellington for a third day because of bad weather and high seas. Not only have we missed Milford Sound, but now we will miss most of the south island and all its dramatic scenery.  :(

It is 13C, raining and very windy.
We are supposed to sail at 10:00 pm for Picton.
