Adventures on Kauai

Sorry for the delay in posting but we have been very active the last few days. Kauai is a beautiful, largely unspoiled landscape with a low key casual vibe. Everthing is very natural and no building can be built higher than a palm tree.

Bruce, Patti and Mo golfed the Makai Golf Club while I was the official photographer. It has an amazing setting between cliff coast line and rain forested mountains. We also visited the beach resort area on the south shore, Waimea Canyon, and the waterfall from Fantasy Island.

 Today we explored the remote natural beaches of the north shore. The colour of the water was incredible but the power of the surf was awe inspiring. We are also enjoying trying all the quaint local restaurants in beautiful Hanalei Bay. The fresh fish is wonderful and often served with fresh sauces made with tropical fruits, coconut and macadamia nuts. Yummm!
